To Kyma will be screened in Menorca

To Kyma: A rescue in the Aegean sea will we screened on March 10th in Menorca framed in the documentary film exhibition NOBORDERS. The directors, David fontseca and Arantza Díez, will be in the screening to debate about the Europe’s situation and the arrivals of asylum seekers.
To Kyma explains how Proactiva Open Arms, an organization of catalan lifeguards, works in Lesbos, Greece, rescuing people who cross the Mediterranean after fled up political and social conflicts. The documentary, performed for the first time two years ago, has participated in the main world festivals and has been awarded by different recognizions.
NOBORDERS is a documentary film and art exhibition that create an space to speak about which responsabilites have Europe related to welcome and refuge. It is an initiative financed by public and private entities. The purpose is to raise money to give them to people who have had cross the Mediterranean.
